Jeff Pawelek, BS

Jeff has led a wide range of biomedical research studies for over two decades, with a particular focus on pediatrics. He began his career in Orthopedics at Rady Children’s Hospital before taking a leadership role at the Growing Spine Foundation (now the Pediatric Spine Foundation), where he spent 10 years directing the research program with the leadership of Dr. Behrooz Akbarnia.

He later brought his research expertise to the Naval Health Research Center in Point Loma, and then to Scripps Research Translational Institute under Dr. Eric Topol. Today, Jeff manages a busy clinical trials lab and a diverse study portfolio at UC San Diego Health.
