2016 Harrington Lecture: Scoliosis Research Society
San Diego Spine Foundation founder Behrooz A. Akbarnia, MD has dedicated a lifetime to the art and science of spinal care. As a surgeon, he completed a scoliosis and spine fellowship under the guidance of legendary Dr. John Moe. His contribution to research is amply demonstrated by an extensive body of published work: his leadership recognized both by his term as President of the Scoliosis Research Society, multiple honors and by the 2015 receipt of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the SRS.
